My process to connect

Kids love to share what they are excited about. Favorite toys, games, songs, it’s all up for discussion. As I engage and ask about them, they generally warm up and begin to forget the camera is there.
Asking them to show or describe what they love puts their mind at ease. They will get caught up sharing about what excites them while I’m snapping away. It’s also fun sometimes when you join in the fun. Remember, seeing you in their childhood images will mean the world to them.
Child led session are as much for your child as they are for you. Looking toward the future, what a gift it will ebb or them see themselves at this stage. The purpose behind every image I capture is to tell the story of who they are.
